Specialty Classes of Hakur

The World of Hakur has a number of unique classes available depending upon the background culture that a PC is from. These classes represent certain ways of thinking, philosophies and provide more flavor and differences between the various cultures and kingdoms of the realm. These classes should be easily adaptable to other campaign worlds with minor rewrites to the descriptions to remove or replace the campaign specific elements.

These classes are also going to be work in progresses as they are played or simply play-tested these classes might be nerfed or boosted in power to be more in line with the power levels of other classes in the game.

Fighting Arcanist

Hailing from the land of Dracar, these Spellswords make up the bulk of the Arcane forces that the Emperor and the Armies of the houses have at their disposal. Wielding both spell and sword, these combatants can be a boon to any armed force that finds itself needing a bit of magic and a bit of steel. While never obtaining the same level of arcane power as a traditional wizard, a Fighting Arcanist can still be a force to be reckoned with, long after casting his/her last memorized spell.

Elven Archer

Skilled bowmen from the court of the Sun Elves and the conclaves of the Selense Half-Elves. These masters of the arrow have been known to stop armies dead in their tracks with numbers far smaller then would otherwise suggest. Wearing lightweight armor and carrying few provisions, as Elves often do, these drawstring warriors have been known to be used as support and scouts alongside Rangers.

Elven Arcane Blade

With their longer lives, the Elves of Hakur often have more time to pursue skills that their shorter lived cousins are simply unable to spend the time seeking. Sometimes this born out in a mixture of magic and blade as an Elf walks the path of the Elven Arcane Blade. Skilled in both Elven Magic and the Elven Blade, these skilled magical warriors are an asset to have on your side.

Rovani Horsemen

When one must travel by horse, it is said that there is no man better to travel with then a Rovani Horsemen. These highly skilled equestrians are capable of getting more out of a horse, team of horses or a group of men riding horses then any other being alive, save the gods. When mounted on horse, a Rovani Horseman is capable of many feats that only the most highly trained non-Rovani could ever hope to achieve after decades of training and practice.

Hesponian Swashbuckler

Hailing from the lands of Hesponia, these masters of the rapier, with a wit to match, fight with a flurry of steel while often sniping their opponents with their sharpened tongues. When not engaged in steel to steel battle, a Hesponian Swashbuckler can often be found romancing the other member of the species with romantic tales, poems from the heart or even some song upon their Hesponian Guitar. If they are not playing to the other member of the species, they might be using their skill in the arts to garner a meal or a place to rest their head for the evening. Fiercely loyal to their friends, a Hesponian Swashbuckler will go to great lengths and personal risk for a friend.

NPC Classes

Who guards the horses while the PCs are delving the depths of a dark, dank dungeon? Who mans the battered battlements best for the King? Who practices what they preach, protecting the people of villages, towns and cities? It is these two base classes that perform those tasks, the Soldier and the Priest.

Soldier

Man at arms, hired thugs, the bulk of a grand army or the men and woman hired to watch over a heroe's camp and horses. Whatever the case may be, these men and woman want to make something of themselves in the world.
