All of these events are listed under what has been become known as Ages of Man, to date there have been 7 distinct ages of man that chronicle the rise and fall of mankind.

The Seventh Age of Man 1101 to Current Time
Also called the Barbarian Horde. It was a time when all of humanity was in a state of barbarism. Living in small tribes and making constant war with each other. The age lasted for several thousand years as man slowly learned about the world. Near the end of this age, the greatest of all the empires built by man was founded.
- 5000 : The first settlements of man are carved out from caves.
- 4921 : It is believed that the first written words were created in what are now ancient druid groves.
-4751 : Many tribes band together under a powerful barbarian named Arn Swarz. Fabulous tales are told of his exploits and are still told today.
-4503 : Many tribes begin to worship more gods instead of nature spirits and the sun.
-4350 : Many tribes enter war with eachother over their gods. Soon, many realize that their gods are one and the same. First signs of kingdoms. A few large cities are built.
-4212 : There are rumors that at this time the gods themselves walk the land.
-4050 : Many gods are known to have taken avatars and also change their chosen peoples. The great Holy Camen Empire has it's roots in this period as the Men of Kaim gather together in lands that eventuall become the Citystate League of Spartia.
This age is commonly called 'The Time of the Gods'. It was during this time that many barbarian tribes began coming together and worshipped a closely related pantheon of gods. In time these tribes grew into powerful kingdoms. This age is filled with classical tales of great heroes doing the bidding of gods, testing their mettle against the wills of the gods and some are said to have even joined the gods.
-3950 : The city-states Kaim, Darble, and Spartia are founded as walled villages. The Citystate of Kaim grows to tremendous size and power. Some fearing for their freedom, some acting out of greed and jealousy; many citystates secretly plot against the Men of Kaim.
-3580 : The city-state of Kaim is destroyed by Darble and Spartia. The City-State League of Spartia is formed. The Kaim-Men are forced from the peninsula of their ancestral homes and wander the land and sea for nearly a hundred years.
-3490 : War comes to the frontiers of man in the form of evil armies, lead by dark champions of forbidden powers. The gods, fearing for their chosen peoples; select and train great scholars in the art of magic.
-3480 : The Kaim-Men discover a verdant valley surrounded by many primitive villages of simple people. Believing they have finally found their place in the world, they rebuild themselves as the Camen, bringing learning, government and purpose to the people of the Claw Peninsula forming the Camen Empire.
-3475 : The forces of darkness unleash terrible known as dragons upon the world. Hoping to help their chosen people the gods creat the Lesser Wyrms.
This era is known as The Age of Ascension, where mankind fully come into his own. A near constant war existed on the human frontiers in the form of once men that chose to worship the forbidden gods. Twisting in the darknes these evil creatures were corrupted into forms now known as Goblins, Trolls, and Ogres. Stalking the lands these foul armies killed many. Wishing only the best for their chosen, the gods taught the Great Scholars of Man more and more powerful magicks in order to drive back the tide of darkness. The Kingdoms of Man rejoiced for the safety of magick handed down by the gods.
At the end of this age, Man has everything he needs and is want for nothing, with simple requests, Kings bring forth great feasts and make famine and disease disappear with the potent magicks handed down by the gods. The people stop asking the gods for help and instead turn to the poweful users of Magick to solve all of their problems.
-3245 : Man, with the help of their potent archmages, finally drive back the hordes of humanoids from the lands of Man.
-3006 : A great force for good, The Wyrm Knights are established, proclaiming themselves champions of the people, beholden to no kingdom, these protectors and defenders of good set themselves up to be always vigilant of the forces of darkness.
-2998 : Man begins to forget about the gods. Even though without the god's potent Magicks, the kingdoms of Man would have fallen to the forces of darkness.
This dark time for man is known as The Age of Abandonment. For the gods looked at what they had created and were shocked. In their race to help their chosen peoples, they had made beings nearly as powerful as themselves. Worse yet man began to forget the gods, the very beings who had made everything they had possible.
The gods wept for they knew what they must do. If they had never done so before, the gods did indeed walk the world calling down fire and cracking the lands nearly destroying the world. In the end most of the gods left the smoldering world sealing it off from planar travel. At this, Man fell back into a barbaric state. A few gods chose to remain watching over their chosen and bending them into the forms now known as Elves, Dwarves, and Halflings.
-2896 : The gods decide to destroy man. They walked the world for 20 days and nights. In the end they could not bring themselves to killing their children. So they left the world, vowing never to return.
-2766 : Beautiful creatures known as Elves begin to walk the world.
-2570 : A dour and sometimes sour race known as Dwarves begin to build their homes.
-1782 : The MageKing Selveyis is said to have been born.
-1572 : A diminutive race known as Halflings are found living on the land.
-750 : Man begins to worship the forgotten gods once more, even though their prayers fall upon deaf ears.
This period is called The Reawakening as the gods returned to the world of Man. At this time, Man had lost virtually all of their power except the one power that was put into Man's heart at is very beginning, the will to survive. Crawling back up from the depths of barbarism, Man had a great deal of work to do in order to catch up to the Demi-Humans two-thousand year head start. By the end of this age man was once again peering out from his kingdoms.
1 : The gods return to the lands.
124 : The cities of Darneau, Vorsaith, and Korloth are built as the capitals of three powerful kingdoms of man.
487 : Human once again learn the ways of magic, but not the lostpotent magicks that were given to man by the gods in the past.
A great trouble is cast upon the world christening this age as The Time of Darkness. When the gods of man returned to the realms they didn't return alone, the dark forbidden gods returned to the realms as well.
Choosing a new form to champion their vile humanoid followers, evil hearted men were had their forms once again corrupted into darkness. Giving birth to the species known as orcs, these foul creatures spread across the lands, proving their strength as nearly equal to that of man. Leading powerful humanoid armies, they assailed the lands of Man bringing war to every kingdom.
These Orc wars lasted a good 300 years before these armies of darkness were driven from the lands of man, forced into a despicable region that has come to be known as Orkell.
830 : Hordes of humanoid monsters attack human lands from seemingly out of nowhere. These armies are led by savage and intelligent warriors that come to be known as Orcs.
860 : The forces of man suffer terrible losses and are beginning to lose hope.
865 : Elves and Dwarves, setting aside their differences join together with the forces with man.
900: After 35 long years of battle the humanoid armies are driven back. The Orcs cling feverishly to an area of land in southeast Hesponia that becomes known as Orkell.
915 : The Human/Elven kingdom of Selense if formed.
980 : The Vistani confederation is formed.
After many centuries of darkness, Man regains some of the lost knowledge of the ancients ushering in The Age of Enlightenment. Most human kingdoms are in this age living a more civilized life, with art, and knowledge becoming incredibly important. New ideas run rampant across the world.
Even with the forces of darkness held at bay within the lands of Orkell, the kingdoms surrounding that foul nation suffered yearly spring raids as the Orcs sent forth war bands to constantly threaten and test the mettle of the kingdoms of man.
1138 : Seasonal attacks into neighboring lands begin, these attacks emanate from the humanoid held lands of Orkell. They continue on season after season as a seemingly endless macabre springtime ritual.
1207 : Great Winged Falcons are discovered, befriended and begin to live with the people of Northern Selense.
1248 : The Red Falcons of Darneau are established, they have sworn to protect the Royal Family of Selense no matter the cost.
1256 : The Present.
