Anglish - People of Angland

These people live on the island nation of Angland and are often seen in port cities around Hakur for they are excellent sailors. The Queen's Navy is also known as one of best maintained in the realms and the Anglish Merchant Fleets are renowned for their abilities to swiftly and safely ferry goods across the oceans of the world. Some say the Queen of the Anglish is in league with the Gods and Goddesses of the sea. If she is, no one can tell, for neither she nor the gods are talking about it.

The mainland is nearly by Lords and their landed servant Thanes that defend and protect the people from the excursions of the humanoid bandit tribes that ply the seas and pillage the villages from the reaches North of where the Geltians live.

The forrests and green fields of the countryside are maintained by a Druidic Order that has existed for longer then the Anglish throne itself. These men and woman tend to the balance between nature and the ambitions of man and the humanoid bandits of the Icy North, tempered with the teachings of Hurness, the Great Hunter and patron god of the Isles.
