The Phrencs are an interesting people.
Considered the up and up people to follow a common Phrenc is quite aloof to those beneath them, and have a tendency to look down upon people of lower status. .
The Phrenc people live in the kingdom of Selense near the western border of the kingdom. They tend to live mostly in the cities, although they are fond of adventure, and thus can be found in any land.
General Appearance
They commonly dress in colorful clothing with much flair, and many loosly hanging extras. They have a certain elegance about them, with vastly differing tastes and interests. The commoners tend to wear functional clotheing that can last a good long hard days of work. Whereas the aristocracy tend towards the foppish dress copied, but never mastered in several lands.
They have somewhat pointy noses, a common elfin trait, whereas they have golden brown to dark brown hair that both sexes where long and finely brushed. Near the borders the people take life more seriously and have a tendency towards more usefull fashion

Social Structure
The Phrenc people live in a fairly traditional romanticized feudal state. Their society is made up of serfs, freemen, landed knights, barons, dukes and the Royal Family. Every Phrenc born within Selense, if not of nobility, is born a freeman.
Some people choose to pledge their service to a landed lord for protection, a roof over their head and meals in their belly. These people become serfs, working the lands surrounding the lord's estate. While the majority of their needs are taken care of through their lord's coffers, many serfs are able to make their own income through the sale of some extra goods and or through a stipend from their lord's coffers.
The freemen make up a large majority of the population of Selense. These individuals are often merchants, minstrels, tradesmen, general laborers, soldiers, adventurers, scholars and many other professions that do not tie them to a particular area.

Phrenc adventurers favor the following classes: Fighter, Knight, Bard, Cleric, Wizard, Druid, Illusionist, Ranger, Rogue
